Abigail Hurlbert

In 2017, Abigail lived in Virginia and was able to participate in a missions conference that turned out to be very impactful. She felt called into ministry and began looking at options to prepare her for whatever the Lord guided her to do. In 2021, Abigail went on her first mission trip, which took her on a foot-washing team to Tanzania, with Teen Missions International. This was her first experience in a third-world country and it changed her. Upon returning home, during her senior year of high school, she applied to the Sojourner School of Ministry with Teen Missions for Bible school. She has been in Florida at the home base of Teen Missions since the Fall of 2022. While here at school Abigail has had the opportunity to lead a summer team to Australia, and she plans to lead the team going to Germany in 2024! As she finishes up her last year of academic training she can see how much she has learned, and she feels so much better prepared to launch out into ministry!

Abigail will be starting her 12-month internship in Australia beginning in August of 2024. She will be serving alongside the Australian staff at the Teen Missions International base in Tewantin, Australia. She is so excited to go to Australia for this time and be able to help the ministry there expand.
