Lane Cooke
Lane was born and raised in Mexico as a missionary kid. Her parents, William and Katie, moved to Mexico in 1997 and began their ministry there.
Growing up in full-time missions, Lane was constantly involved in ministry and outreach opportunities, but it wasn't until 2018 that she decided she wanted to get more involved in missions and go on a missions trip. Lane went on her first mission trip in 2019 to Thailand with Teen Missions International. After that trip she felt God calling her to full-time missions. She went on another mission trip with Teen Missions in 2021 to Ecuador. In September of that year she moved to Florida to attend the Teen Missions Sojourner School of Ministry. During her time as a student, Lane was able to lead two teams—one to Uganda and one to Costa Rica. Being in this school has really been a huge blessing to her and she feels she has grown in so many ways!
Lane is planning to start her internship in the fall of 2023 and she is very excited to see what God will do in and through her during this time of internship! During her internship she will be working in the Video/Promotions Department and will also be assisting the school as a Resident Assiantant for the students.
In her free time Lane enjoys playing sports (especially soccer), going on walks or longboarding with friends and being outside.
Starting in August, Lane will be serving in Australia as staff for a year!
While there, she will be helping in any way that she can (marketing, finances, land maintenance, etc). She will also be helping with their new school called The Journey and will be part of their travel groups with the Journey students.
She is super excited to see what the Lord is going to teach her and do in and through her while serving alongside the staff in Australia.
