Daniel & Sandra Huegel

Daniel grew up in a Christian home in central Mexico.He sensed God calling him to full-time missionary service as a missionary pilot. He first heard about Teen Missions while attending LeTourneau University and was sent as a recruiter to Boot Camp in 1990. After completing his college training, he moved back to Mexico and met his wife, Sandra.

Sandra also grew up in central Mexico where she was a part of youth camps and served in church since she was a teenager.  

Daniel and Sandra married in June 1995 and have three children (one they adopted from SE Asia). In the last 30 years, they have served in mobilizing missions in Mexico and church planting in the southern state of Oaxaca, the same area as TMI´s very first international team. They have done intercultural work with Muslims in SE Asia, and short-term projects in over two dozen countries. They joined TMI USA staff in January, 2025.

Daniel and Sandra are coordinators of the Teen Missions ministry opening up in Mexico.  They are excited to be launching this youth work, praying that many young people will come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
