Faith Petersen

Due to Faith’s involvement with Teen Missions as a staff kid, she was inspired by the work God was doing in the lives of the teenagers at the Lord’s Boot Camp and was eager to join the action herself! In 2018, Faith went as a team member for the first time to South Africa and committed her life to full-time Christian service. The next few summers she was able to serve with Teen Missions in Ecuador, South Africa (again), India, and was an assistant leader for the first time on the Taiwan team! After graduating high school, Faith felt the Lord’s leading to join Sojourner School of Ministry where she has been studying various Bible courses and receiving hands-on training alongside seasoned missionaries. Since joining Sojourner, Faith has had the opportunity to volunteer at the Boot Camp in Australia and lead another team to Guatemala.

Faith is currently finishing her second year of academic training at Sojourner and will be starting her internship in the fall of 2025. As of now, she plans to serve in Colombia for nine months at Teen Missions newly adopted base! Faith will be learning from the Colombian staff as she works with them in their various outreach ministries and assisting wherever is needed. She is super excited to start on this journey and cannot wait to see what the Lord will do next!
