John Theisen
John Theisen was born in Southern California, but his family moved to Colorado when he was 12 years old. Growing up with a father who is a pastor and a mother who is a worship leader, he had great values instilled in him. He first heard about Teen Missions in 2022, and after much prayer, he went on his first team to Taiwan in 2023. On that team, he felt a strong calling to ministry and decided to join the Sojourner School of Ministry. As a student of the Sojourner School, he had the wonderful opportunity to go on a ministry trip to Australia where he served at the Teen Missions base. Last summer he helped lead a team of 18 teens to the Philippines and Lord willing, he will be serving his internship in three different countries. He plans to serve at Face of My Father Children’s Home in Mexico and two Teen Missions bases: one in Uganda and one in Tanzania. He desires to finish his internship by leading an American team in 2026.
