Seth and Emily Phippen, a passionate couple motivated by their unwavering faith and shared commitment to advancing the Gospel, have embarked on an inspiring journey of service and devotion. Seth, the fourth of 12 children, comes from a dairy farm in upstate New York, where his deep-rooted connection with God's calling on his life first took shape. Emily, the fourth of 10 children, grew up in picturesque northern Minnesota, nurturing her own mission-driven spirit from an early age. Together, they have become a beacon of hope and service, illuminating the path of faith for countless others.

Seth's calling became evident when, at the age of 15, he embarked on his inaugural mission trip with Teen Missions. This life-changing experience served as a catalyst for his spiritual journey, leading him to the Teen Missions Bible School in Florida , where he encountered another life-altering event: meeting his soulmate, Emily. United by their shared devotion to God and ministry, their love story blossomed, and they sealed their commitment in marriage on October 6, 2012.

The early years of their union were marked by ministry service and dedication. Seth and Emily embarked on a nine-month internship in Malawi, Africa, under the auspices of Teen Missions. During this time, their faith and resolve were put to the test as they worked tirelessly to serve alongside the people of Malawi while adapting to a new culture and environment. Their steadfastness shone through, and they soon transitioned into staff roles in Florida, solidifying their bond with Teen Missions.

In 2017, Seth and Emily took the opportunity they were waiting for when they were asked to relocate back to Malawi full time. Seth assumed the role of Country Coordinator, a position that entailed overseeing three Bible schools, managing the Teen Missions staff, Bible school students, Rescue & Matron Units, and Sunday schools. This six-year tenure in Malawi proved instrumental in shaping their ministry and deepening their connection to the people they served.

The Phippen family, which had grown with the addition of their children James, Lauren, Emma, and Sadie, returned to the United States at the end of 2022, answering a new calling. They now find themselves at the heart of Teen Missions International Headquarters in Florida, with Seth taking on the role of Vice President of Operations.

Seth and Emily Phippen's journey is a testament to the power of faith, love, and commitment to a higher purpose. Their passion is to spread the Gospel of Christ and answer his call wherever He leads. Through Christ and the strength He gives, they continue to shine the light of Christ for those in search of hope, purpose.
