The Taiwan Team has arrived safely in Taiwan!

After a short bus ride from the airport, we arrived at the Hallelujah Hope Church in the Daan District of Taipei City. The church people gave us a warm welcome (lots of hugs!) and treated us to a traditional meal of noodles.

In the morning, we attended a Bible study with some of the church members and had an opportunity to worship with them. What an awesome experience to sing the same songs in 2 different languages as we worship the same God!

The church treated us to breakfast sandwiches and tea before our first of three camps (Hallelujah Camp) began.

About 50 kids attended the camp on the first day. The team shared the story of Paul’s road to Damascus conversion and taught the kids that Jesus is our light. They had a great time playing games, singing songs, sharing puppet songs, and building relationships with the kids.

In the evening, the team had a chance to snacks at the local 7-Eleven before spending some time getting to know the youth group at Hallelujah Hope Church.

A very busy first day, but a joy to be able to share Jesus with our brothers and sister in Christ here in Taiwan.
